Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Parade
Plans and organizes chapter programs for participation in the annual MLK parade. Recruits sorors and others to demonstrate LVAC’s commitment to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Membership Services

Promotes sisterhood by extending a variety of amenities to the membership. Promotes membership, reclamation and retention within the chapter. Provides inspiration and motivation to chapter members and plans activities for fellowship and bonding during and outside of chapter meetings.

Protocol and Traditions

Preserves and enhances our chapter’s values and belief system. Ensure that the chapter adheres to procedures, practices, codes of behavior and respectful observances established by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Ensures that all formal ceremonies are conducted as required by Protocol and Traditions. Presents programs at chapter meetings to keep the time honored Delta traditions alive.

Historian, Heritage & Archives

Documents, collects and maintains the historical records of the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter. Preserves the history of the chapter through photographs, programs, newspaper clippings and correspondence. Uses effective methods to keep historical records safe and secure.
